HOW TO CONNECT CHINISE MOBILE TO COMPUTER OR LAP

Hi guys, most of us have a doubt whether its possible to connect a chinese/korean handset to computer or laptop
for internet. The good news is YES and you dont need a pc suite for this purpose.Everything needed is just bluetooth facility in your computer/laptop
as well as in your mobile. Follow the steps given below and you will be able to do it :).

configuring the settings in your handset .
When you contact the customer care for internet settings for your chinese/korean handset, you will always have
a No reply from them.
So here is the manual configuration that you need to do .
I have given the configuration for TATA DOCOMo, will give the manual configurations for airtel,aircel,idea,vodafone
networks in my next post.

1.In the menu, go to SERVICES->DATA ACCOUNT -> GPRS
2. select any of the existing profiles and edit the
Account name as "TATA DOCOMO"
APN as "TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET"
dont type anything in USERNAME and PASSWORD. just leave them blank.
select NORMAL in AUTH. TYPE.
press done to save the profile.
3.Now get into SERVICES again
select WAP -> SETTINGS -> select the sim in which you are going to connect to the internet.
now select EDIT PROFILE -> select the appropriate sim once again
now you will see a number of profiles.
select any one of them -> EDIT PROFILE
type "TATA DOCOMO" in RENAME PROFILE
type any website address in HOMEPAGE
in DATA ACCOUNT select TATA DOCOMO
in the CONNECTION TYPE select "HTTP"
type "000.000.000.000" in PROXY ADDRESS
type "0" in PROXY PORT
press ok
leave blank the username and password.
then go back and select ACTIVATE PROFILE.
4.Now open the home page in your mobile. you must be able to see it, if so net is successfully connected in your
mobile, if not you have made a mistake in manually configuring the set, so please check it out once again.

THINGS TO BE DONE IN COMPUTER/LAPTOP

5.Turn on the bluetooth in your phone as well in your computer.
6.Pair your phone and computer first.
7.After pairing up your phone and computer, right click your phone and select services.
8.if u see the "dun" profile being checked , you must be happy for your phone supports phone to comp connectivity.
dun means dial up networking.
9.double click your phone icon and then click connect.
leave blank in username and password
dialing number is *99#.
dont clcik dial now. please wait for we still need to do one thing !!
10.right click my computer and selct manage and then click device managaer.
11.now select modems and you will find standard modem over bluetooth link ,#2,#3 etc.
you need to find out which link your phone is making use of.
for this open network and sharing center and then click change adapter settings in the left pan
right click bluetooth connection and you will see the link that is being made use of.
12.double click the appropriate modem for you
13.select advanced tab
14.type the following in the extra initialisation commands:
AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET"
note: type from A till the end of quotes.
this command is for docomo only. other networks have their own commands which i will let you
know in my next post
15.now click ok.
16.now click dial and you will be able to connect to net by all means in your computer/laptop.
17.make sure your phone has good signal to ensure proper connection.
